April 20, 2020
As we discussed during the most recent Supplier Business Meeting (April 28, 2020), I wanted to follow up and provide our supply base access to GM's Safety Playbook (via the link below). This was prepared by our Global Workplace Safety organization, and serves as our COVID-19 operating strategy guidelines as the company continues to plan for employees to safely return back to work.
Safety remains our number one priority at GM. The results of our recent survey indicate the majority of our suppliers have already begun to establish appropriate safety protocols for restarting operations. If you haven't started this process yet, we ask that you urgently do so, and we hope that our Safety Playbook helps enable your planning. Together, it is critically important that all of our employees return to work with confidence.
Thank you for your continued support.
